Della Mae: “This World Oft Can Be,” Della Mae’s Grammy-nominated Rounder debut, shows that like The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers, and Punch Brothers, the five multitalented young women of Della Mae are respectful of American musical tradition, but not restricted by it, combining centuries’ worth of musical influences with an emotionally tough, undeniably modern songwriting sensibility. In a relatively short period of time, the band has become a sensation in the music world, commanding a powerful collective chemistry with vocal, instrumental, and songwriting talent to spare.
Sierra Hull: Boundaries - age, genre or otherwise - do not hamper an artist like Sierra Hull. As a player, a singer and a songwriter, Sierra has remarkable range, the potential to win over ears unfamiliar with Bill Monroe and give performances of broad cultural importance, as she’s done at such locations as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.Buy Tickets

Mark Twain’s All-American adventure based on episodes from his own boyhood comes vividly to life on stage in an all-new adaptation of his celebrated novel Tom Sawyer. All of the well-loved scenes from the classic story are here, including white-washing the fence, the terror in the graveyard, the “free-bootin’” on Jackson Island, all the elements that have stirred the imagination of boys (and girls) for almost 140 years. Some of the best-loved characters in literature are present- the mischievous Tom Sawyer, his best pal Huckleberry Finn, pretty Becky Thatcher and many more!
The script is newly adapted from the novel by local director and dramatist Gerald Maloy. The songs were written for the 1973 Reader’s Digest film production by the Academy Award winning team of Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman (Mary Poppins) who were again Academy-nominated in 1974 for the song score of Tom Sawyer. In an unprecedented, generous, and gracious move, Richard M. Sherman has granted Mr. Maloy permission to use these songs in this special stage adaptation.
River Song catches the spirit of 1830’s Hannibal, Missouri, with songs including the poignant title tune “River Song,” “Free-Bootin’,” and the toe-tapping “Gratification.”Buy Tickets
Of the five eggs in Mother Duck’s nest, one is the largest and last to hatch. Bigger and paler than the others, this last hatchling is treated as an outsider by Mother Duck and her ducklings. He may be the best swimmer of the brood, but this alone is not enough to ensure his acceptance.
Knowing only rejection, this Ugly Duckling goes out into the wild alone. Reflecting upon his plight under the glow of a remote willow tree, he sees a wily cat creeping in the direction of Mother Duck’s nest. The Ugly Duckling follows and watches as one lagging duckling is captured and taken back to the cat’s lair.
In true heroic fashion, this Ugly Duckling succeeds in vanquishing the cat and rescuing the captured duckling. Celebrated by Mother Duck and her ducklings for his uniqueness, all realize that he may have been an ugly duckling, but he has grown into a beautiful and powerful swan.Buy Tickets

Great musicians will always find a way to make good music, but for great musicians to make great music, they must form a bond - one that, more often than not, goes beyond the purely musical to the personal. For The Grascals, that bond has been forged at the intersection of personal friendships, shared professional resumes and an appreciation for the innovative mingling of bluegrass and country music that has been a hallmark of the Nashville scene for more than forty years.
Vocally, the trio of Terry Eldredge, Jamie Johnson and Terry Smith are tighter than ever, cutting loose on driving solo vocals and soaring trios with equal fire and passion. As an instrumental unit, The Grascals have never sounded sharper, with mandolin ace Danny Roberts, fiddler Jeremy Abshire and banjo player Kristin Scott Benson leading the charge. As a result, their cutting-edge modern bluegrass is delivered with a deep knowledge of, and admiration for, the work of the music’s founding fathers. Timely yet timeless, The Grascals make music that is entirely relevant to the here and now, yet immersed in traditional values of soul and musicianship. It’s a unique sound that has earned Grammy nominations for three of their releases for Best Bluegrass Album.Buy Tickets
